Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 1, 2026  |  Last updated: April 1, 2026

Who we are

The Cadence.Agency is a boutique consulting and fractional operations firm serving privately held commercial real estate companies in the Greater Baltimore-Washington, D.C. corridors. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information gathered through our website at thecadence.agency.

Information we collect

We collect two categories of information:

Information you provide directly. When you submit a contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided), company name, and the message you send. We use this to respond to your inquiry and, if appropriate, to follow up about our services. Contact form submissions may be stored by our form hosting provider — see Third-Party Services below.

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This service may collect standard internet log data including browser type, pages visited, time on site, and referring URL. Google Analytics 4 applies IP anonymization by default; your full IP address is not stored by us. This data is used in aggregate to improve the site and is not used to identify you personally.

Legal basis for processing

We process contact form data on the basis of legitimate interest — specifically, responding to your inquiry and evaluating whether our services may be relevant to your business. We process analytics data on the basis of legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used so we can improve it. You may request that we stop processing your contact information at any time by contacting us at the address below.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies placed by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and compile aggregate usage reports. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so will not affect your ability to use the site.

How we use your information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

HubSpot stores contact form submissions, manages follow-up communications, and may log interaction history related to your inquiry. HubSpot may process data in the United States or other countries. Governed by the HubSpot Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising networks, remarketing services, or data brokers.

Data retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and to maintain a reasonable business record of the conversation. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 26 months per Google's default settings. You may request deletion of your contact information at any time; see Your Choices below.

Business transfer

If The Cadence.Agency is acquired, merged, or its assets are transferred to another party, information collected through this site may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to ensure the receiving party honors the commitments made in this policy.
